Each turn you do one of two things: move your pawn one square, or drop a wall to slow the other player down. Walls can never fully trap an opponent — they must always have a legal route to their goal edge. First pawn to touch the opposite side of the 9×9 board wins the round.

• 2-player games start with 10 walls each; 4-player games start with 5 walls each.
• On your turn, either move one square or place a two-square wall between rows or columns.
• If an opponent's pawn is directly next to yours, you may jump over them to the square behind. If a wall or the board edge blocks that square, you may instead step diagonally to either square beside the opponent.
• Walls may never completely block a player from reaching their goal side.
• First pawn to reach the opposite edge of the board wins.
